FAQ

1. Why do I need to recertify?

Recertification is required to maintain your status as a certified fitness professional and to ensure that you have the most current knowledge and skills to provide safe and effective fitness training to your clients.

2. What are the recertification requirements?

Each certification has its own recertification requirements, but generally, you need to complete a certain number of continuing education units (CEUs) or retake the certification exam within a specified time frame.

3. What happens if I don't recertify?

If you don’t recertify, your certification will expire and you will no longer be recognized as a certified fitness professional. This can limit your career opportunities and potentially harm your reputation in the industry.

Yes, IFTA welcomes all qualified fitness professionals to recertify with us, regardless of where they earned their original certification.
